Providing floral designs for weekly display in business
or medical office lobbies welcomes clients (and potentials!) with
warmth and a sense of well-being. Many Human Resources personnel
also realize employees appreciate a floral “touch of humanity” at
the front desk.
Lobby designs are composed with long-lasting expectation in mind,
even though often office conditions might not be ideal (arid air-conditioning,
sometimes rough handling, often high temperatures over a weekend
when air-conditioning is turned off). While seldom consistent, some
office personnel assist longevity by adding water occasionally when
needed. For a nominal charge personnel from our studio can refresh
the designs mid-week if necessary.
Unusually Attractive Designs
This display of lobby flowers is a design placed against an outside
wall at the far end of an elevator bank on a low table. The yellow
cymbidium orchid provides height above the two bright red antherium,
grouped around the dark-purple artichoke, the olive-green billy-balls,
and the tight dark eucalyptus pods. The pine-like papyrus greens
provide contrast to the several aspidistra leaves, including one
on the right folded to preserve symmetry with the cymbidium’s height.
The poppy pod stem on the right then sets the balance for the entire
design. |
