Houseplant Tools

Silks and Dried Arrangements
Tool Set
Cultivator, trowel and transplanter are ideal for potted plants. Can be gift wrapped, $8.
Silk Spray
Environmentally safe, the spray dissolves dust and dirt without affecting the silk or dried design. 12-oz can, $12.
Joyce Chen Scissors
These are the famous Joyce Chen guaranteed, stainless steel scissors. Numerous versions (Bonsai, tweezers, garden, etc.) also available. $25 and up. Store inventory includes other, less expensive scissors, too.
Wire Paddle
Fits the hand, won't roll away, and keeps neat its green-painted wire for many wreaths or designs. ½-lb, $5. Larger wire rolls of differing strengths available, too, on order.
Rain Rocks
Designed for the bottom of pots for drainage, these frosted-glass irregular shapes are too good looking not to be on display on pot tops too -- or in a vase of cut flowers! $9 per1/2-lb bag, Quantity discounts available.
Frog Stem Holder
When the holder will be seen (like in a shallow glass dish) green ceramic Mr. Frog does the job with aplomb. $20.
Pot Pads
Protect those table tops from spilled water under your favorite flowering pots -- round or square, walnut or cork hue, 4" to 24", $2.50 and up.

Some sizes out of stock.
Hairpin Stem Holders
From the small 1" size (shown, $9) to larger ovals, rectangular shapes, and circles, all provide the famous hair-pin method of holding stems for fresh or dried. The hairpin method, best for silks, grips the stems instead of cutting into the stem bottoms like the sharp pin-cushion holders (shown elsewhere).
Plant Misters
The copper mister atop a glass bowl (either clear, blue or pale green) works equally well outdoors, on floral designs, even ironing! $12.50.
Dry Foam Blocks
Just like the popular, wet Oasis blocks for cut-flower designs, these dried Sahara Foam blocks become the foundation for silk or dried designs hot-glued inside bowl or basket. $5.50.
Eco Water Spouts
Make use of those old plastic carbonated-beverage bottles! Screw on the spout to create your own watering can. $9.
Wooden Picks
Just like hidden hair-pins, these picks keep just right those dried or silk flowers! 60 at 6", $3.75. Also 90 of 3" $3.25.
